Lost Pets
If you have lost a pet, call ACCT at 267-385-3800 and the PSPCA at 215-426-6300 or email lost@pspca.org. Lost reports are taken 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you have lost a pet, visit the PSPCA Philadelphia Adoption Center at 350 E. Erie Avenue and the ACCT Operational Center at 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue to see if your pet has been picked up.

Dog Licensing
Licensing your dog is the law in Philadelphia, and is an important part of responsible pet ownership. Philadelphia and Pennsylvania both require dogs four months of age and older to be licensed. The license issued by the City satisfies the requirements of both governments.
There are two types of licenses available for purchase: annual license (good for one year from the date of issue) and permanent license (available for microchipped or tattooed dogs, good for the entire life of your pet).

Download an application. Please print the application form and fill in all fields. Incomplete applications cannot be processed. Be sure to provide copies of the following:
- A rabies vaccination certificate. Please check your certificate for correct address and pet information.
- Proof of spay/neuter (required only if you are applying for the lower spayed/neutered license fee). Please provide a copy of a signed statement from your veterinarian or invoice for services.
- Proof of tattoo/microchip (required only if you are applying for a permanent license). Please provide a copy of a signed statement from your veterinarian.
- Proof of age (required only if you are applying for the senior citizen discount).
Mail all required documentation, along with your check or money order payable to “Pennsylvania SPCA” to the address below. Please do not send cash.

Animal Surrender
The ACCT Operations Center at 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue is open for animal surrenders seven days a week. For more information, call 267-385-3800 or email surrender@pspca.org. You can also arrange a pickup for a surrendered animal by calling 267-385-3800 or emailing surrender@pspca.org.

Stray Intake
To report stray animals and packs of dogs contact ACCT at 267-385-3800 or email stray@pspca.org and give the approximate location of the animal(s). ACCT's animal control officers will patrol areas in question, initiate inquiries and report findings in a timely manner.
The public can also drop off stray animals to the ACCT shelter at 111 W. Hunting Park Avenue 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
