30 Animals Saved From A Single Property

dogThe heat index inside was well over 100 degrees, and the horrid smell was wafting from the house. Visible to our Humane Law Enforcement Officers were 8 dogs in the windows, almost as if they were on the lookout for someone to save them – and save them we did.

Just last week, our Humane Law Enforcement team rescued 23 dogs and 7 cats from a property in Northampton County, spending hours inside a home with a heat index over 107 degrees and high levels of ammonia. Even through the worst of working conditions, we are dedicated to saving animals who are victims of cruelty and neglect, including during a global pandemic.

Today, these 30 animals, many of whom are Chihuahua puppies and baby kittens, are safe in our care. They are receiving the medical treatment they need, food to fill their bellies, and have been promised a bright future in "furever" homes.

Our work continues, today, and every day. And we couldn’t do it without you.
