The Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania SPCA is matching your donation dollar for dollar up to $135,000 as part of a Challenge Match Grant. Every single dollar you donate, up to $135,000, will be doubled between now and December 31, 2020. This means you have the chance to help us raise $270,000 before the end of the year to save hundreds of animals like Captain Kidd.
Captain Kidd was rescued by our Humane Law Enforcement team after being found chained in a yard, with no food or water, covered in fleas and in dire need of medical attention. He was suffering from a large infected neck wound caused by an embedded collar. He was running out of time.
In addition to his neck injury, Captain Kidd had a severely infected open wound on his right front leg that caused a painful limp. Even though he was clearly suffering, he wagged his tail and happily took treats during his stay in our Hospital. It is because of your support that we can save animals like Captain Kidd. Will you donate today to have your gift matched dollar for dollar?
