Dr. Lisa Germanis, VMD has been a veterinarian with the Pennsylvania SPCA since 2010. Dr. Germanis completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the ASPCA’s Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital in New York City. She was an associate veterinarian at a specialty practice performing emergency and critical care medicine prior to joining the PSPCA. Dr. Germanis received a graduate certificate from the University of Florida in Veterinary Forensics in 2014 and her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, where she was a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society and also earned her VBMA Business Certificate. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Environmental Science from Saint Joseph’s University. Dr. Germanis serves on the board of the Red Paw Emergency Relief Team. Her family includes daughter Elodie, Puffers the dog and two cats, Ralphie and Termé. Contact: lgermanis@pspca.org
