The Foxwynd Foundation Helps Advance Animal Care at Pennsylvania SPCA’s Main Line Animal Rescue

Phoenixville, PA (November 21, 2025) — The Pennsylvania SPCA is honored to announce a generous grant from the Foxwynd Foundation supporting critical hospital equipment and facility upgrades at the organization’s Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR) site in Chester County. This grant was made possible through the Foxwynd Foundation Donor-Advised Fund (DAF).

The grant of $25,000, awarded as part of a matching program, will fund the purchase of essential medical equipment and infrastructure upgrades to protect animals and staff across the MLAR campus.

Last year, MLAR’s hospital performed more than 1,200 surgeries, with an increasing number of animals requiring complex medical treatment. These upgrades will help ensure the highest standard of veterinary care while improving the safety, comfort, and well-being of the hundreds of animals who depend on the hospital and adoption center each year.

Facility improvements will also make a lasting difference for the dogs and cats awaiting adoption. A reliable boiler will provide consistent warmth during the winter months, sprinkler systems will strengthen fire safety, and a new generator will ensure critical operations continue even during potential power outages.

“The Foxwynd Foundation’s support allows us to take meaningful steps to enhance the care and safety of every animal in our Main Line Animal Rescue hospital,” said Julie Klim, CEO, PSPCA. “With this grant, we can provide advanced medical treatment and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for all our animals—giving each animal the best chance to heal and thrive.”

"We are proud to support the Pennsylvania SPCA for a second consecutive year. The vital work they do to protect animals and provide high-quality care aligns closely with our mission, and we are pleased to help strengthen their efforts to ensure the health and safety of every animal in their care," stated Pamela Villagra, Executive Director, Foxwynd Foundation.

This investment reflects the Foxwynd Foundation’s deep commitment to improving the lives of animals and the communities that care for them. The Pennsylvania SPCA team extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Foundation for its continued partnership and support of its mission to protect animals and prevent cruelty.
